My scan isn't detecting the edges of my document.
Use a flat, well-lit surface with contrast between the document and the background — a dark table under a light page works best. Hold the phone steady until the outline turns solid.
Where are my scanned PDFs stored?
Locally on your device only, inside ScanVaultz's app storage. They are not uploaded anywhere. You can export or share any scan directly from the document view.
I purchased Pro but it's not unlocked.
Open ScanVaultz, go to the paywall screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." This re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history and re-applies your unlock without charging you again.
Can I recover a deleted scan?
Deleting a scan removes its file from your device immediately and can't be undone from within the app. If you have iCloud or Finder backups enabled for your device, a prior backup may still contain it.
Does ScanVaultz work without an internet connection?
Yes — scanning, text recognition, and PDF creation all run entirely on-device and work fully offline.

What we collect

Nothing. ScanVaultz does not require an account or sign-in, and does not transmit your scans, photos, or documents to any server. Scanning, text recognition, and PDF creation all happen locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device frameworks.

Storage

Your scanned documents are stored only in ScanVaultz's local app storage. They are not backed up to any service we operate, and we have no access to them. Your device's own iCloud or Finder backup settings — controlled by you in iOS Settings — may include app data as part of your regular device backup; ScanVaultz does not separately upload anything on its own.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect, see, or store your payment information — that's handled directly between you and Apple under Apple's own privacy practices.

Analytics and tracking

ScanVaultz does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If that changes in a future update, this page and the app's App Store privacy labels will be updated to reflect exactly what's added.

Children's privacy

ScanVaultz does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds an optional backup feature — we'll update this page and the in-app privacy disclosures to match.
